The upcoming holiday season really makes me value our family and that family is definitely one composed of both humans and pets. The holidays will be a time for us to stop and relax, to step away from the computers (yes, I am determined!), and just to enjoy all that we are so lucky to have in our lives.

With that skipping, though, comes the urge for Tiki and Irie to chase that stone! Well, thats definitely part of the fun with the Kurgo Skipping Stones! With these stone-shaped dog toys, you can let your dog take part in retrieving the floating stones. They still float after a good chew!

After a long cold spell here in Texas (not cold by many standards but cold for here!), we decided to take off a day between fronts and enjoy a day trip with Irie and Tiki. Weve been wanting to take in some fall color so this week we headed to Guadalupe River State Park, lined with cypress trees that were all in beautiful shades of orange during our visit. The water was chilly but Irie and Tiki were determined to enjoy some wading. We spent the day in the park, picnicking, hiking, taking...
