I call this a trend, since I ran across two Kickstarter campaigns yesterday for proposed games, the highlight of each which is to avoid having your feline avatar meet a graphically grizzly end.

Now, before you chastise me for being an overly sensitive PETA-monger they are after all just games, right? there is a mountain of evidence proving that violent games incite copycat behavior. The video game Grand Theft Auto has inspired a horrific number of violent crimes.

    The most successful of these...

  • Ask Max Monday: The Conundrum of Morals V Ethics

Yeah, I have a question: Where did you get those super-spiffy pictures of yourself and Buddah??

The Woman used an app for her phone called pic2comic. Theres another one she likes called PaperCamera, but for the pictures last week, she used pic2comic.

Would it be wrong of me to try and sell any or all of mine brothers because they are hogging the bed? I mean, Im the oldest and Im supposed to get to sleep next to that woman all night if I choose, but sometimes I want to make her wait for my...

On Friday, two of my favorite cat ladies Susie and Kiera treated me to a visit at the Cat Town Cat Cafe in Oakland, CA. It is the first permanent (non pop-up) cat cafe in the U.S., and it provides an excellent model for other shelters and rescues considering to step into the Cat Cafe fray.

Susie and Kieras cats, Kimo and Sabi, came along in fine flat form. They especially enjoyed the view from the Tribune Tower (an Oakland landmark).

The space has been lovingly catified, with connected towers...

OkIm actually looking in the computer, trying to find all the questions I was set to answer. You can clearly see, in this artistic rendering, titled Max Staring Into The Computer how hard Im looking.

    Spiffy, eh?

Sowhen I checked this afternoon, there were no questions for this week, which is fine because the Woman has been busy getting ready for a trip, and I have been busy napping. Any questions asked after that will be answered next week. I hope thats all right.

To ask me something, you can...

Lili Di Prima is a graphic designer and portrait artist who lives in Sicily in a homeby the sea. She has loved to draw since she was old enough to hold a crayon.

Her drawings might be classified as quirky modern primitive. I just made the term up, but I think its apt.

Lili not only portrays cats and dogs (even snakes!), but also their owners. Just send her a photo and shell work with you to create a portrait you love. She puts no limit on the number of revisions.

You can choose to receive your...
