Dont know how I missed this but an animated short film from Disney called Feast about the changing relationship between and stray dog named Winston and the man who rescues him won the 2015 Oscar for Best Animated Short Film.

Winstons transformation from homeless dog to bachelors dog to family dog is wonderful to watch.

Im a mature, gentle giant American Bulldog with loads and loads of love to give. I may be 12 years old, but I have energy to cuddle endlessly. I am very well-mannered on leash and love daily walks. I have a sweet, mellow personality and I get along very well with my foster sister dog. Id love to meet your dogs too, though I would prefer quiet companionship over exuberant play.

Max is a miniature pinscher mix that was rescued from the former Olympic Animal Sanctuary in Forks, WA a little over a year ago with over 100 other dogs.

Living in a crate 24/7 and being starved at the OIympic Animal Sanctuary made Maxs food aggression much worse.

Billed as a place where dogs with severe behavior problems facing euthanization could either live their lives out peacefully or be rehabilitated and re-homed, the Sanctuary was more like a prison where dogs spent their...
